Christina McGrath is OMNi Modesty’s designer. She lives in Frederick, Maryland, and attends Christian Life Center (Ijamsville, MD). The modesty shop is an online-only store where you can browse and find many different styles of skirts at the click of a mouse. Where you don’t have to worry about cold weather, rain, and snow. You can sit back and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa while shopping for the latest OMNi selections.
So, what is OMNi? OMNi is a newly founded online modest clothing company, established in February 2018. “OMNi seeks to provide fashionable, quality activewear for those who choose modesty. In every aspect of life, at work, on vacation, working out, our clothing choice should glorify God.”
Sis. McGrath also adds, “At the age of 27, recently married, I was working as a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse at Hershey Children’s Hospital in Pennsylvania. During my first few months in the position, I found out I was pregnant! That was not the plan. But I made it up in my mind that I would work throughout my pregnancy. When it came time to start wearing maternity clothes, I couldn’t find maternity scrub skirts anywhere. That is when the seed was planted in me to design maternity scrub skirts. I also started to think about the scrub skirts I owned at the time. They weren’t stretchy or flattering. This motivated me to learn how to sew. After a lot of trial and error, I designed a regular and maternity scrub skirt. By God’s grace, I found a manufacturer to produce my designs. God opened all the doors along the way!”
Who is the target of this product? “For now, we offer clothing for ladies. We provide athletic skirts with leggings and professional wear (Medical wear, Teachers, Cooks, Cleaning). In 2020, we plan to start a men’s line! We can’t share the details of the new line, but it will be a staple in every apostolic man’s closet!” There are many different sizes and the skirts come in many different styles for many different uses. One example is an athletic skirt with capri leggings attached. Sizes range from XS-XXL. Material is Poly/Spandex.
Scrub skirts are also available. Sizes range from S-XL. Material is Poly/Rayon/Spandex. And of course, there are maternity scrub skirts for purchase. Sizes range from S-XL. Material is Poly/Rayon/Spandex. The material for the scrub skirt is moisture-wicking, anti-microbial, four-way stretch, and iron-free.
There has been a lot of feedback on the skirts. “We have received great reviews on the styles offered so far! Especially because they love the design and the price of products we offer, as well as the stretch the material provides.” Sis.
