Eighteen Rules Of Exhortation

EIGHTEEN RULES OF EXHORTATION

1. Our exhortation was not of deceit (I Thess. 2:3)

2. Our exhortation was not of uncleanness (I Thess. 2:3)

3. Our exhortation was not in guile (I Thess. 2:3)

4. As you were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so speak (I Thess 2:4)

5. Speak not as pleasing men (I Thess. 2:4)

6. Speak as pleasing God (I Thess. 2:4)

7. Use no flattering words (I Thess. 2:5)

8. Use no cloak of covetousness (I Thess. 2:5)

9. Do not seek glory from men (I Thess. 2:6)

10. Be gentle, even as a nurse cherishes her children (I Thess. 2:7)

11. Impart the gospel of God (I Thess. 2:8)

12. Impart your own souls (I Thess. 2:8)

13. Behave holily  (I Thess. 2:10)

14. Behave justly (I Thess.2:10)

15. Behave unblameably (I Thess. 2:10)

16. Exhort as a father does his children (I Thess. 2:11)

17. Charge everyone to walk worthy of God (I Thess. 2:11, 12)

18. Thank God without ceasing for those who receive the exhortation (I Thess. 2:13)
