THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION

Approximately 100 years ago Englishman Charles Darwin offered to the world his theory of evolution, which was an attempt to explain the origin of life and the existence of man. Men, in their attempt to elevate man at the expense of God, were quick to jump on the bandwagon, and slow to question the numerous inconsistencies and untruths that were presented.
This trend of gullibility has in no way subsided, as we find today that practically all science textbooks present the theory of evolution as indisputable fact. Anyone who would be so naive as to question this theory, or offer an alternative explanation, is branded as unlearned at best.
In layman’s language, the theory of evolution is this: All plants and animals (including man) which exist today have gradually developed from a simple single-celled organism that somehow came into existence billions of years ago.
Evolutionists teach that this gradual process of development came about by the method of natural selection, and have coined the term “survival of the fittest.” They are thus advocating a perpetual progression of life.
The theory of evolution, however, is too filled with loopholes, contradictions, and inconsistencies to be accepted as scientific fact. There are currently many good books, written by Christian authors, which
show the theory of evolution to be not only unscientific, but completely absurd as well.
An example of the numerous fallacies surrounding the theory of evolution can be seen in its complete violation of the Second Law of Thermodynamics,one of the most universally accepted and reliable laws of science. This law states that in a self-contained system there is a tendency for things to degrade to a lower level. Left to themselves, all elements of the system have a tendency to deteriorate and become isorganized. Evolutionists, in their teaching that there is a constant upgrading and improvement, would lead us to believe the exact opposite.
Christians should not be surprised by the general acceptance of this theory, as the Bible informs us that in the last days Satan will make every attempt to distract man’s thinking from the existence and power of God.
The same facts that the proponents of evolution use in an attempt to explain the “first cause” and the development of man can be used to complement the Bible’s teaching that God is the “first cause,” and that He created everything, including man, in its perfect and final form (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3).
Man, in falling victim to the wiles of the devil, became subject to the Second Law of Thermodynamics. In his sinful state, he has never ceased to deteriorate.
There is an answer, however, as the Word of God teaches us that Jesus Christ died on the cross to reverse this process. All that we must do is follow the New Testament plan of salvation as found in Acts 2:38: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

True science and the Bible do not contradict one another. True science is based upon PROVEN FACTS, as shown by the very definition of the word as given above, not theories, suppositions or allegations. One of the attributes of God is His OMNISCIENCE (omni-all; science – knowledge), which simply means that God is all-knowing, knows everything. Therefore, “in (Him) are hid all the treasurers of wisdom and knowledge,” or science (Col. 2:3). And we are told in Prov. 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (science).”
God’s Word warns us against that which CLAIMS to be science but is not: “. . . avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called” (I Tim. 6:20). The so called “science” is based, not upon PROVEN FACTS, but upon philosophies of men, and we are warned, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ” (Col. 2:8).
Actually, THE BIBLE IS THE MOST SCIENTIFIC BOOK IN ALL THE WORLD! It has stood the test for centuries and has NEVER had to retract even one statement it contains when compared with all modern scientific discoveries and developments. In fact, modern “science” has been forced to come around to the Bible and acknowledge the truth of many things they formerly laughed at as “unscientific.” A case in point is Heb. 11:3, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things
which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
Science now acknowledges that all matter is composed of atoms, which, in turn, are composed of “energy particles” called neutrons and protons. These revolve around each other traveling at great speed, and cannot be seen, since they are not matter at all, but energy. But God’s Word told us that in Heb. 11:3, centuries ago.
While the Bible is SCIENTIFIC and changeless so-called “scientific” treatises on such subjects as “evolution” are constantly changing, and the modern “accepted” theory differs markedly from Darwin’s which was accepted as the final authority only a few years ago. “Scientists” are continually forced to revise their theories as point after point of the evolution structure they have built up is proven unsound and untrue. Yet they are unwilling to abandon the idea, but simply proceed to patch up the old tattered garment, present it again, and with great fanfare proclaim the “new” evolution is truly “scientific.” NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH!
Science is the knowledge of truths or facts severely tested and proven. Evolution is neither truth nor fact and has never been severely tested nor proven. THEREFORE, EVOLUTION IS AN UNSCIENTIFIC FRAUD! Let us examinethe theory of “evolution” in the light of TRUE SCIENCE and the WORD OF GOD.
1. Why should life exist? Is there any purpose in living?
Evolution: Came into existence by pure chance; just “happened.”
Science and Bible: Col. 1:16; Acts 17:28; Phil.1:21.
2. Does man have a soul? How did he get a soul?
Evolution: Cannot answer. No allowance made for soul.
Science and Bible: Gen. 2:7.
3. How did life originate?
Evolution: Purely by chance a chemical reaction produced life.
Science and Bible: It is as though a man’s watch came into being purely by chance. How absurd! A watch PROVES the existence of a watchmaker. Even ONE CELL of living matter is INFINITELY more complex than a watch.
4. Why should it be necessary for life to develop from one form to another?
Evolution: So that the fittest may survive. It learned how to adapt itself to environmental change; the non-adapters perished.
Science and Bible: In a single environment we find surviving an infinite variety of creatures without any need to “adapt.” Why should an amoeba need to walk, or a frog need to fly? Does nature really need a creature smart enough to discover the hydrogen bomb?
5. How would the change in body form come about?
Evolution: Pure chance mating of individuals adapting together in the right environmental direction.
Science and Bible: Gen. 1,11,12,21,24,25. This remains scientifically true. Cross-pollination and selective breeding may produce superior varieties, but LEFT ALONE, these varieties will not continue to improve, but will, instead, revert back to the original strain. No new species have EVER been developed.
6. How about the direction in which life is going?
Evolution: Lower to higher. Sin is just an imperfection that will be evolved away. Eventually we will evolve into gods.
Science and Bible: II Tim. 3:1-5. The lower forms that should have perished are still with us today, even the amoeba!
7. How about the fate of the individual?
Evolution: Evolution is still going on – YOU perish with the rest of the misfits! God has no plans for the individual, if there is a God.
Science and Bible: Heb. 9:27, Heb. 10:31. I John 3:2.
8. How about vestigial organs?
Evolution: Appendix, tonsils, etc., remain from previous form of life.
Science and Bible: Science now knows these organs perform necessary functions. They contain lymphoid tissue. They contain lymphoid tissue which aids in the formation of antibodies as part of the mechanism of defense against infection. Psa. 139:14.
9. How about fossils and “missing linkers”
Evolution: Claims fossil remains show change from one species to another.
Science and Bible: There are NO IN-BETWEEN FORMS or MISSING-LINKS. If evolution were true, there would not be merely one or two, but there would be MILLIONS of them, living creatures in all stages of evolutionary development. On this point alone, evolution is shown to be a farce and an unscientific hoax.
10. How about the first man?
Evolution: “Early men” found: The Piltdown Man – Pure fraud, ape’s jaw with filed down tooth stained brown, then planted and “Discovered.” See “The Great Piltdown Hoax” in the October, 1956 Reader’s Digest and the April, 1956 Popular Science Monthly. The Heidelberg Man – Little piece of jawbone
(possibly an ape’s or that of an arthritic man) used to reconstruct an entire “man.” The Java Man – Scrapes of skull, jaw, and leg found at different times, put together and built up by imagination into a “man,” etc.
Science and Bible: Gen. 2:7; I Cor. 15:45. Evolution attempts to eliminate the first Adam so that the “Second Adam,” Jesus Christ, and His claim on your life can be eliminated.
11. How about the future?
Evolution: Only speculation as to what pure chance, natural selection, and survival of the fittest will come up with. Since man is an evolved being from the lower animals, he is simply a superior animal, with no more soul than an animal possesses. Therefore, there can be no heaven or hell or eternal destiny of man.
Science and Bible: Heb. 9:27. Hitler was a product of the FALSE SCIENTIFIC atmosphere represented by evolution. His theory of a MASTER RACE through “scientific: interbreeding, wherein human beings are but animals, is closely akin to the atheistic communistic theories, both of them developed from evolution believing sources.
Where there is no fear of God (Prov. 1:7), no hope of immortality, no heaven, no hell, and men are but evolved animals, MEN WILL ACT LIKE ANIMALS. The Bible and teachings of Jesus Christ, the hope of the world will be discarded, and men will sink into corruption. That this is now in process of fulfillment, none can deny. And the Godless teaching of evolution will have performed it’s satanic work. Soon Jesus will come for His bride, the Church, and the whole world will then sink into the awful tribulation, and WORSHIP THE BEAST. How vividly that pictures evolution today!
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION
Evolution: A theory, pure and simple, unsupported by fact or logic, contrary to the Scriptures, and UNSCIENTIFIC and unproven. It is not merely a harmless philosophy, but a VICIOUS, DEMON-INSPIRED, SOUL-DESTROYING LIE!
Science and Bible: Science and the Bible are in perfect harmony that evolution is false and untrue. The Bible stands supreme! Its story of the creation of all things by God remains unshaken. The plan of salvation
through Jesus Christ is proven true! “Build your hopes on things eternal-hold to God’s unchanging hand.”

“EVOLUTION – WHAT’S BEHIND IT?”
Evolution – “The gradual development or descent of forms of life from simple or low organized types consisting of a single cell.” Webster 1961 edition. Evolution deals with the origin of man, or simply how did the first man, Adam, come about. Many people believe the Biblical account of the creation by God; however it is now being taught not only in our colleges but also our public schools, that man is a product originating
from a small one-celled animal that split into two cells, and then into four, etc. Through this process, over a period of millions of years came the monkey, ape, gorilla, and finally man.
Who cares how we got here? So what, how can this hurt us? What’s wrong with this belief? These are questions that men ask, questions that should be answered. The youth need to know that there is an answer and further they need to know the reason behind this type of teaching and most of all who is behind it.
A RELIGIOUS MATTER
Many may wonder why a minister would get concerned about this mater as it appears to be a science matter only, however, this is far deeper than science and is aimed at religion entirely. You must look at the end result of this belief to fully understand it. This teaching has one goal in mind and that is to disavow that God in any way made the first man. In disproving that, God made man, the ultimate objective will be reached and this is to do away with God’s right to judge man. If God did not make man then he has no right to judge man. Look at it this way: My child belongs to me and I have a right to correct or punish him as I see fit. You may disagree with me and say he did not need the spanking I gave him, but nevertheless I can punish him because he is my child. I have no right to correct the child of any other parent as they alone have this right since the child is of their family.
Rev. 20:11 – 15 tells of the final judgment of many by God and those being cast into the lake of fire. Does Cod have a right to do this to man? The only reason he has is the fact that he created man and man belongs to him. God alone will judge man. 2 Tim. 4:1, 1 Pet. 4:5, Heb. 13:4, Ezk. 33:20 prove that God is the final judge of mankind. God proclaims that all souls belong to Him and that the soul that sins is going to die. Ezk. 18:1 – 4. He has this power if he created man, but he does not have this authority if he did not create man.
DEVIL’S REVENGE
Lucifer, son of the morning, one time sat in heavenly places and sat upon the Holy Mountain of God. Once he said in his heart that he would exalt his throne above the stars of God and he would be like the Most High. Because of this pride and rebellion God cast him out of heaven and all the angels that were sympathetic with him. God reserved him unto judgment and Satan knows his final destination is the lake of fire. He would like nothing better than to get revenge against God for this. If the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church, it is sure Satan has no power to go against God in a direct battle; therefore he is directing his attack against that which is “the apple of God’s eye,” the creation of God. He knows he is headed for that eternal lake of fire and he is trying to drag every person there; seeking revenge against God. If a person will only believe this evolution theory they will fail to keep the Holy Commandments of God.
GOD MADE MAN
“And the Lord God formed man – and breathed into his nostril the breath of life.” This scripture should be proof enough that God made man, but notice also the following scriptures:
Duet. 4:32 “since the day that God created man”
Gen. 5:1 “in the day that God created man”
Gen. 6:6 “And it repented the Lord that he made man”
Job. 33:4 “The Spirit of God hath made me”
Ps. 8:4 – 5 “What is man – for thou hast made him-”
Also notice the following scriptures which verify God as our maker:
Isa. 51:12-13; Mal. 2:10; Ecc. 11:5; and Luke 3:38.
You may be sure God is the sole creator of man and lights the light of every man that is born. He alone makes life; therefore he will be the judge of that life. You must face God someday and not only as your creator but also as your judge. Evolution would like to remove him as your judge, and will if they can remove him as your creator. Evolution wasn’t initiated just to have another thought to study but it wants to destroy Genesis. If one part of the Bible is false, such as the record of the creation of man, the Revelation is false concerning the judgment of man, God created us, therefore, he has every right to alone judge us. Evolution wants to remove this.

EVOLUTION AND BIBLE SCIENCE

(Basic Principles That Need To Be Seriously & Honestly Reconsidered)
There are many startling changes today in basic scientific concepts which are in keeping with the biblical premise or presentation. Generally speaking it is sending serious thinking people back to studying the Bible in earnest and honest research.
With a great section of scientific concept in a state of turmoil and change, people are willing in ever-increasing numbers to listen to the Bible concept of geology, catastrophy, creation, biology, psychology,
sociology, sex, occultism, archaeology, history, etc. The Bible premise of these and many others makes scientific sense. As Christians we need to be aware and informed as to what the Bible teaches in these various areas. According to scripture we are obligated to “be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope (or conviction) that is in you” – in a gentle and respectful way – (I Pet. 3:15).
Basically there are two methods of interpreting the facts or data of scientific research. The Bible believer funnels or filters scientific facts throughout the Bible concept and it makes logical sense. This is exactly
what is stated in Heb. 11:3 “Through faith (that is, believing what God says in His Word) we understand (or the facts make sense).” Those who believe in evolution (evolution is a belief or an assumption) funnel or
filter, scientific facts through an evolutionary concept. The problem is, in the light of the many new concepts from scientific research this method of interpreting the facts through an evolutionary concept is making less and less sense.
The Bible claims, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”, Gen. 1:1. According to the observed facts, this is both sound and logical. (see also Rom. 1:19-20).
Evolution claims – in the beginning there was nothing, absolutely nothing, and nothing produced matter and force (or energy). According to the observed facts or scientific research such has never happened. That nothing produces something just is not sound reasoning no matter how you look at it.
Further evolution claims, dead matter and force (or energy) by random force produce living, conscious, intelligent life. But again this premise is neither reasonable or in keeping with the observed and proven facts of science. The first proven and accepted law of thermodynanics is that random force does not produce complex order. Evolution is built on the assumption that random force does and has produced complex order of chemicals and life. Yet nowhere is this observed or demonstrated.
The Bible claims complex life appeared suddenly. Evolution claims that simple and early forms of evolved life appeared first in the Cambrian rock stratus and then gradually over millions of years evolved into more and more complex life appearing in stratified order of evolutionary sequence in later rock formation. Where does the evidence lie? All forms of complex life have been found appearing suddenly in the Cambrian rock. Nowhere in the world is life found in the stratified order of sequence so frequently shown in the evolutionary charts. Those who have gone to the fields to find this evolutionary stratified order of the sequence of life have been disillusioned by the observed facts and evidence. It just is not to be found. Instead of finding an orderly stratified sequence of life, they find in many different places of the world, all forms of life crushed together by some awful catastrophy into a confused and jumbled mass. This clear and
repeated evidence is in keeping with the Bible premise of global catastrophies.
Further, where are all the evolutionary links in the fossil records and the extinct and living species? If evolution is true these evolving links evolving over millions of years had to exist in multiplied forms of life.
There would be more fossils of creatures in the evolving stage than the perfected stage. Although scientists have been frantically searching for these multiplied links for over 100 years to prove the theory of evolution, they have not been found, and they have not been found because they just do not exist. Numbers of authorities in the field of evolution openly admit this lack of evidence of links between species of plants, animals, birds, reptiles and man. They also admit the fact that since the so-called scientific age, no new animal species have emerged. They further acknowledge that the picture chart so frequently published showing the outward similarities between species to substantiate the theory of evolution have very little positive scientific proof or value. Yet many accept these pictured charts as being positive proof of evolution because they are usually pictured and explained as being unquestionable proven facts. The true fact of the matter is they are not proven facts, they are simply the product of an unproven assumption.
The Bible claims man was created a very highly intelligent and capablecreature in the image of God just a little lower than angels. This was true of man before and after the flood, and as time moves on he continues
to degenerate until the last days when the Bible predicts knowledge (not wisdom) will increase (Dan. 12:4) but not to the development of a better specimen of humanity.
Evolution claims man evolved from a very low form of life and that ancient man was very primitive. Further they usually take the premise that if a thing is primitive it is ancient. If it shows signs of intelligence and capability or is scientific, it is modern or more recent.
The observed facts of history and archaeology is that ancient man was very highly intelligent and capable. The discoveries on every continent confirm that ancient man had fantastic knowledge and creative ability. New and multiplied evidence continues to pour in at an ever-increasing rate that confirms the high intelligence and ability of ancient man. At the same time there is evidence of man who broke away from the main stream of capable and intelligent humanity, and as is true of some existing men today, they lived
in caves, and produced very crude implements, and existed in a very low, plain life. But as claimed by evolution that these are the first and most ancient people is positively not a proven fact.
The most ancient skull of man, which was recently discovered by Richard Leakey substantiates that ancient man was like man today. Leakey says of this recent discovery, “Either we toss out this skull or we toss out our theories of early man,” and (it) “leaves in ruins the notion that all early fossils can be arranged in an orderly sequence of evolutionary change.”
The established and proven second law of thermodynamics is that everything is running down, deteriorating or degenerating and increasing the chaos is replacing order. This is in full agreement with the Bible premise. Evolution is based on the very reverse of this established and accepted law of scientific research.
The observed evidence in our world and universe past and present is not the principle of evolution but the principle of the second law of thermodynamics that everything is deteriorating and running down. This is
seen in the stars, planets, our own earth, every form of energy, resources, vegetation, animals, birds, reptiles and man.
For over 100 years, evolution has accepted the theory that the geological stratus of the earth was laid down gradually over millions of years. Recent scientific research claims that much of the geological stratus of the earth was laid down by catastrophies, very rapidly and in comparatively recent times. Men like Emanuel Velikovsky and others have challenged and upset the whole scientific world with the multiplied evidence for catastrophy which is in complete opposition to the theory of gradualism and uniformitarianism. Today more and more leading scientists in view of the ever-increasing evidence of modern scientific research, are leaning towards the theory of catastrophism not gradualism and uniformitarianism.
The Bible supports the premise that repeated catastrophes have altered the earth as we know it today. Further it predicts that in the last days similar catastrophies on an ever-increasing and greater scale will bring about global destruction of mankind and of the earth and of the stability of the cosmic universe as we know it today. This too is what modern scientific cosmic research claims will eventually happen to our earth, sun and universe.
Just a brief consideration of some of these basic principles will convince and serious-minded person that with the ever-increasing evidence of modern scientific research the whole premise of evolution is shaken and challenged to its very foundation. Our whole so-called scientific concepts need to be reconsidered with open-minded honesty within the framework or model of basic Bible principles or in plain words – Bible Science.
