Letter 1
Dear New Saint of God,
I want to personally welcome you into the family of God. It is a great pleasure to have you write with other brothers and sisters who have also been filled with the Spirit and Baptized in the name of Jesus.
Your experience was very real! Use it as a landmark to refer back to from time. My prayers are with you and I am confident that the Lord will continue to both guide and lead you into the fullness of His love.
If I can be of an assistance to you, please call. Either myself or a qualified minister will try to be of help to you. I am your pastor here to serve.
In His Service,
Pastor B.H. McCoy
Letter 2
Dear New Convert:
You have been born a spiritual babe into a spiritual church. As you continue to mature in Christ, you will become more aware of the fact that you, too, must learn to live the Christ-life. This will involve some self-discipline. You will now have the opportunity to put into practice the vows you made when you asked Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life.
I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to start your day off with prayer. The church meets every Monday through Friday at 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 6:00 PM for prayer. You may choose a convenient time. Prayer and Bible reading are essential to your spiritual growth. Commit today to an hour of prayer each day.
In a congregation the size of Christian Life Center there is always a ministry that can benefit from your involvement. It will be good for you to get involved as soon as possible. If you are unsure of the area of involvement best suited for you, call the church office and make an appointment with an associate pastor for a time of discussion.
Your involvement in a crew meeting…which is a meeting where several saints come together in an individual’s home once a week for an hour to pray and share with one another…is of utmost importance. You will find that this group meeting will be a great help in meeting and getting to know others. For mare information, call the church and ask for Brother Putnam.
As you grow and mature in your walk with the Lord, you will realize that God’s church is composed of many types of people with varying talents and abilities. You will see that you fit into this group and have a definite contribution to make. God is counting on you to fulfill your role.
Please make yourself at home! I am so glad you are here! If there is any way we can assist you, feel free to call any member of our pastoral staff. We care about you and are praying for you!
Sincerely in His service,
Kenneth F. Haney
Pastor

Dear Teresa,
I would like to take a minute to welcome you into the “Kingdom of God” and the Polkville Pentecostal Church family. It was wonderful to see God complete His work of salvation in you when you were filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the name of Jesus:
Your experience was very real. Use it as a memorial to refer back to from time to time. God has adopted you and carefully placed you under His wing of protection.
There may be some questions in regard to your experience and new life. That’s only natural. So we have developed the New Life orientation class. The class meets on Sunday afternoon at 4:45 in the Youth Department’s Sunday School Class. It will provide you with tremendously helpful insights in living the Christian life. You will learn much there which will help you to understand the big, new and exciting life you have just entered.
As your pastor, I’d like very much for us to have an opportunity to get better acquainted. Feel free to call anytime if we can be of any help to you, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
In Christ’s Service,
Barron D. Price, Pastor

Dear Teresa,
I would like to take a minute to welcome you back into the “Kingdom of God” and the Polkville Pentecostal Church family. It was wonderful to see God renew His work of salvation in you when you were refilled with the Holy Ghost!
This fresh touch is a confirmation that God still loves you and is concerned about your life. Use this confirmation to refer back to from time to time. Though you may have failed in times in the past, you will now look daily to the Word of God and the power of God for your strength. Just remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness. When you feel vulnerable to making a mistake, look to Jesus and ask for strength to withstand the temptation. He has promised that He will never suffer you to be tempted above that you are able to withstand!
There may be some questions in regard to your experience as a prodigal who has come back home. That’s only natural. I will be glad to help you or talk with you at any time. I would also like for you take advantage of the New Life class which meets on Sunday afternoon at 4:45 in the Youth Department’s Sunday School classroom. It will provide you with tremendously helpful insights in living the Christian life. You will learn much there which will help you to understand the Christian life and be able to spot those enemies of your soul which try to destroy you and your walk with God.
As your pastor, I’d like very much for us to be able to get better acquainted. Feel free to call anytime if we can help you. “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
