Mark Chapter 5, verse 22: “And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, … ” best place to be is at His feet, because 1) there’s always plenty of room. He’s got a crowd around His hands because that’s where He gives stuff out, so there’s plenty of room at His feet. And 2) it shows humility. (23) “And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. (24) And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged. him. (25) And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, (26) And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, (27) When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. (28) For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. (29) And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. (30) And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? (31) And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee,” ” you see, there’s a difference between touching and thronging. ” …and sayest thou, Who touched me? (32) And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. (33) But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. (34) And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”
Now, I’ve preached many sermons about the woman with the issue of blood, but I’ve never exhausted the subject and I want to direct your attention to verse 25. “And a certain women,… ” that’s all I want. If you were going to read another rendition or another translation or another witness of this story, you could find it in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 9, verse 18. And it begins thusly, ” … there came a certain ruler, … ” Now Mark doesn’t name Jairus, it just says, “there cometh one of the rulers, …. ” But in 9: 18 of Matthew it says, “a certain ruler.”
I began to study a month or so ago, and God began to show me that there is a duality of meaning in the word “certain.” Certain means two things: particular, a certain person, a certain place, a certain model of refrigerator, a certain street, it just means a particular place or person. But, the second meaning is the one that the Holy Ghost said, “But look at this” j the second meaning of certain means: totally persuaded. Certain-to be fixed, settled, determined, not to be doubted because of evidence; reliable, dependable, without any doubt, sure, positive, assured. Certainty-a level of positiveness, a firm, settled belief in the truth of something or someone, a conviction, to be convinced. Let me try it again: Are you a certain person, or are you a person who’s certain?
Acts 3:1-2, starts out talking about a “certain” lame man, who begged for alms. Now does that mean the beggar was just a particular fella, or was he a persuaded fella? In Mark 7:25, it talks about a “certain woman”, who was a Syrophenician. Now, was she just a particular woman or was she a persuaded woman? Apparently, she was the second, because she was persuaded that Jesus could fix her daughter by long distance.
When you got a doctor getting ready to operate on your eyeball or your heart, you want to make sure he’s not just a particular person. You want someone who is persuaded that the method he’s fixing’ to use is going to help you. I’m gonna make sure I interview that dude when he gets ready to lay me open and I’m out for a few hours. “Now, are you certain, doc, that this is going to work?” I’d hate for a doctor gettin’ ready to slice and dice and he says, “Well, I don’t know. We’ll just slit ‘er open and see what happens.” Not hardly! Just send me on home.
Well I’m here to tell ya friends, I’m so sure and so certain that Jesus is God and Jesus is glorious and Jesus is magnificent and Jesus is able to save to the uttermost. That’s the only difference between the saved and the unsaved. The unsaved are not certain, but the saved are certain. I wouldn’t give you five cents for religion. Religion has messed up more people’s lives and killed more people and started more confusion; but I’m certain that salvation can change a person. “If any man be in Christ, he’s a new creature.” The power of the Holy Ghost can take a drunk and make him sober, take a liar and make rum tell the truth, take somebody who’s immoral and make ’em pure. I wish I had a house full of people that were sure, positive, persuaded, absolutely believe that God can do anything.
Certain: to be fixed, settled, determined, not to be doubted because of evidence presented. You know what you are, folks? You’re the evidence. When people see your life change, they can say, “l don’t understand what they are now, but boy, they ain’t like they used to be.” God’s not askin’ you to have every area of your life perfect, but if you’ve ever met Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you aught to have experienced a transformation; and you can’t have a transformation unless you believe the explanation. The explanation is evidence and it’s certain proof that Jesus is real.
Anybody besides me ever fail God since you got saved and you found that you were certain that the Throne of Grace was still available, and if you committed sin, you could come boldly to the Throne and receive help? Son, if you want a mechanic, you want a mechanic who’s certain about the points and the plugs he puts in, because he’s certain about the level of fire you need to explode the gas to throw down the piston rods to make the engine run. And you better be certain about what kind of fire you’re gettin’ from another world. You don’t want to have cold, refrigerator religion, friend. I don’t want to have theory I want to have experience. I don’t want to say, “Well, I believe it.” Well, I’m glad I believe it, but is it anything real from the Book? You’ve gotta get away from the page and meet the person. Jesus said, “These are they that testify of me.” He told a group of religious bigots and biased people, “You got the book alright, but I’m the author, and you don’t even know the author.” That’s what we want. We want to walk with the author; we want to be certain.
This ain’t like playing football, or ping pong, or checkers. If we are wrong about this, you better hope there ain’t no Hell. Now, Jesus stood as a man so certain about Hell. He didn’t give a philosophy; He didn’t state an ideology. He didn’t stand flat-footed and tell the world, “Well, I think Hell is … or it’s …. ” No, no. He put both feet flat and said, “I’ll tell ya about Hell, I created Hell, I know where Hen is. I know what it takes to go in Hell.” I’m telling you right now: You do not wanna go there! Hell has opened its mouth to engulf and swallow people who are uncertain about God. You don’t wanna be uncertain about God. You wanna be certain, you wanna know without a doubt that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. You wanna know that you’re walking in ways pleasing to God. You wanna know that you’re pursuing personal holiness, so that your conduct will be righteous.
John Chapter 5 talks about the pool of Bethesda. Guess what it says? (4)” … at a certain season….” Now, that doesn’t mean persuaded, that just means a particular time, like Easter or Christmas. “At a certain season” an angel went down to disturb the water. But then the next verse says, (5) ” … a certain man was there, which had an infirmity …. ” Now he wasn’t just particular, he was persuaded, because he was waiting for the moving of the water and his testimony to Jesus was, “I tried many times to get in while the water was moving, but I didn’t have anybody to help me.” I am certain, in my lowest time and my darkest moment, in my deepest discouragement and disillusionment and despair that I have not, I am certain, been abandoned by God. God hasn’t thrown me out with the bathwater. God hasn’t turned his back on me. I have to go through some stuff, but faithful is He who has called me, who will also do what He promised to do.
Are you a certain person, or are you a person who’s certain? One writer said, “I t is certain we carried nothing into this world; we will carry nothing out of this world.” “It is certain that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” “It is certain that it is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment.” And it is certain that if you repent of your sins, climb in the baptismal tank, put the name of Jesus on you, get the Holy Ghost; it is certain you’ll miss the judgment. You’ll miss the wrath of God-it is certain.
Listen to me. I’m in the bible. I didn’t steal this. God gave this to me. In Luke Chapter 7, it talks about a “certain” centurion. Does that mean particular? Yes. Does that mean persuaded? Sure enough! The man was persuaded, “…if I can just get Jesus to open His mouth. I don’t even need Him to show up in person, lay his hand …,” he said, “I understand authority.” See, it’s like Satan; Satan found out that when he tried to kill the baby Jesus, there was more than a baby in that barn. There was a Maker livin’ in that manger. There was a Creator walkin’ among us. There was more to Jesus than met the eye. Jesus isn’t just a good theology and a good thought. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the Beginning and the Ending, he is the First and Last, He is the rose of Sharon, He is the lily of the valley, He is the bright and the morning star, He is the root and the offspring of David. It is He that was dead and, behold, is alive forevermore. He’s got the keys of death and Hell and He’s wanting to give somebody a drink. One writer said, “No man is certain of life, no man is certain of tomorrow,” but I am certain of God, and God is a God of today and there’s never been a better time to meet God than right now.
I read in the Old Testament, the Bible says in Esther 2:5, ” … there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, …. ” Now, was he a particular Jew or a persuaded Jew. And his niece’s was Esther. The Bible says, ” … and there was a certain woman.” Now, were they particular or persuaded? See, God’s always picking up this little, almost nondescript something; certain. Like a particular road, place, pots and pans, tobacco, whatever; just certain. But, He’s wantin’ to go to that next level: persuaded, totally convinced, assured, no doubt about it.
So, with this little Bible study of mine, we started in Matthew Chapter 9, verse 18. The Bible says, ” … and there was a certain ruler”, whose name was Jarius; who was certain. I wish they’d put it on my tombstone:
“Here Lies A Certain Man Who Died Certain.”
What does that mean? It means they’re gonna throw dirt in my face, but it won’t stay there forever. I’m certain that there’s gonna be a trumpet, there’s gonna be a sound from another world. I got “gettin’-up-power”, if I got the Holy Ghost. I got resurrection power. Oh yes. I am certain that the trumpet’s gonna sound and the dead in Christ are gonna rise and we’re gonna meet the Lord. I’m certain about it. Don’t you weep and slobber and snot about me goin’ in the dirt; I ain’t stayin’ there very long. I’m certain that when I get up, I’m gonna have a body like unto His body. I’m certain every meal I fasted and every tear I wept and every prayer I prayed and every time I studied and every time I had to deal with setbacks and negative stuff, I am certain it will be worth it all when I see Jesus. I am certain that the rewards of the next life far exceed the mess of this one.
Certain can mean just ordinary, blase, or it can mean persuaded, sure, convinced, positive, no doubt, assured. The Bible says, “There was in a city, a certain leper.” Just a nondescript, particular. Then he said he went to Jesus, ’cause he was certain that Jesus could heal him, so he’s double-certain. He was a particular guy, who was persuaded.
The lady, who was not named, but very noticeable; her name is indefinite, but her need was definite. She is crawling on the ground. Crawling, but crawling in certainty, because she is certain, “If I can touch Him, this stuff’s over.” This woman doesn’t have the market on getting low before God and getting desperate and getting determined. You don’t have to get physically on your hands and knees, unless you need to, but if you could stretch yourself and reach towards God by faith and be certain that, “If I get an audience with the King, the King will help me.” There is somebody who can go to the root of your problem. She’s crawling. She’s an ordinary person, who was certain. She’s an ordinary person, but because she was a person that was certain, she’s fixin’ to touch the Extraordinary. Because she was certain, she could say before it happened, “If I touch Him, I shall be whole.”
So you determine the level of your deliverance before the experience. “I’m gain’ to the altar this morning, I will get forgiven.” Well, is that presumptuous? No, that’s taking God at His Word:
“In the day that you seek me with your whole heart, you shall surely find me. If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. If he comes unto me, I shall not cast him away. If anybody asks for help, I’ll give ’em help. I am the Way, and I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No man comes to the Father but by me.” That’s for certain!
Hear me; I do not believe there’s another religion in the world outside of Jesus Christ and the apostolic way that’ll get you in the rapture. I am certain that it’s still “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, Father of all, above all, through you all.” There’s one God. Jesus said, “I am the door.” He said, “I am the way, I am the truth.” Not just one of many, but “I am the only one.” You’ve got to deal with Jesus if your ever gonna get the Holy Ghost. I am certain that neither is there salvation in any other. “…for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
“Bro. Arnold, if people baptize in any other way other than the name of Jesus, is it wrong?”
“I am certain that it’s wrong. And I am certain that it’s right, because Jesus is the saving name.”
Bro. Arnold, if people are not water, baptized in Jesus’ name, are they lost?
“Yes sir! ‘He that believes and is baptized shall be saved’.”
You must be, you’ve got to be born of water and born of the Spirit. That’s not a punishment, that is a privilege.
The doctors, who took this poor chick’s money, now I’m not damnin’ and condemnin’ the doctors, God bless ’em, they’ve done the very best they could with the knowledge they had. That’s what real doctors and nurses do. They do the best they can with the knowledge they have. That’s why we’re always into technology and research and science, tryin’ to learn better ways to alleviate people’s pains and problems and sorrows. They had reached the last level of their revealed knowledge. They took the lady’s money, not because they were scam artists … a man has a right to get paid for his services … but they didn’t have what she needed. So the doctors were certain her condition was not fixable with their knowledge. Her bankers were certain that she was overdrawn and there were no more resources, and the Bible said, “She had spent all.” Now, you don’t have to be a theologian to figure out what the word “all” means. Last time I checked, all means all. Now in Greek, the word all means all. In Hebrew, oh, it’s really deep; in Hebrew the word all means all. In Pentecost, it means all.
So when she had spent all, they were certain she had no more revenue. So the doctors are certain, her bankers are certain, “Oh, her disease and pain are certain, because her disease and pain are saying, “I’m gonna die, if I don’t try”, because the Bible said she did not get better, rather; she grew worse. It wasn’t the doctors’ fault, they did the best they could do. But her certainty said, “It’s three opinions against one.” Doctors say, “Certain, you ain’t never gonna get better.” The bankers; “Certain, you ain’t got no revenue to pay your way through this.” Her need says, “It’s for certain, you’re gonna die the way your going-you’re bleeding day and night.” Her certainty said, “If I touch this man, all their certainties are washed away.”
She had been confronted by everybody else’s conclusion, but now, through the power of desperate certainty, the conclusions would be her own. “I shall be made whole.” She was sick, but certain. She was broke, but certain. She was crawling, but certain. She was out of options, but certain. Certainly, she had nothing to lose. Certainly, she had something to gain.
Transformation only occurs when the human soul allows our certainty to reach for Christ. Certainty is more than faith, acting, reaching, stretching, believing. Luke 4:3, “And the devil said unto him, if thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.” So now, the devil’s certain that if He is who He said He is, He can do miracles. Shame on you people sittin’ on your duff and you are not as certain as devil. The devil was certain. He said; …. now, if you are the Son of God, if you are who the Heavens said you are, I know you can turn stones into bread; I’m certain…. Isn’t it amazing; a devil could have that much certainty about Jesus and a disciple wouldn’t?
Luke Chapter 4, verse 33: “And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, (34) Saying, let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.” Wait a minute; these devils that were inside this man were certain that if Jesus wanted to, He could take care of them. Shame on us; devils are more certain than us? Shame on us that the stuff that’s driving us nuts, almost giving us a nervous breakdown, a pressure, blowout … we don’t have as much faith and certainty as a devil? Devils said to him, “Leave us alone, don’t torment us before our time, don’t pick on us and cast us out, you’re bigger and badder than we are and we’re certain you can mess us up.” Listen to me: that feeling, that disease, that something in your life, that emotion, that broken down area … it is already certain that Jesus wants to take care of it. Jesus will do it.
(35) “And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.” That’s how certain the devil was. Watch; that’s how certain Jesus was. He didn’t fuss and cuss with that loony spirit. He said, “Leave him alone. Stop it. Stop hurting him. Come out of him.” I don’t believe Jesus stood there like we stand there sometimes, ’cause we’re not really very powerful. I don’t believe that when He did it, he looked at that devil and said, “I hope this works.” I think Jesus said, “Shut your mouth, don’t hurt him, and come out of him.” And I think Jesus turned his back on him and walked away. Why? Because you walk away when you’re sure. You walk away when you’re certain. You ain’t gotta study it. When you speak in authority, when you have the anointing of another World, you ain’t gonna fuss and cuss with stuff. You just talk to it and you’re so certain, because the issue is certain.
(38) “And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; … ” mother-in-law-day with Jesus. That was his mother-in-law, who sick with a great fever, “and they besought him for her. (39) And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.” Now, the only reason they asked Him was because they were certain that He could do it. “Jesus, my mother-in-law’s got a high fever, it’s drivin’ her crazy. Will you come and touch her?” “Why sure, be glad to.”
He didn’t fuss and cuss with that fever and say, “Now please Mr. Fever, would you be so kind not to make me look bad and give me bad press that’ll hurt my image? I’m just startin’ my ministry. Could ya just slip out the backdoor?”
He just said, “Hey! Cut it out! Get out of her!”
The chick just went, “Whoa, thank you. Let me feed ya some lunch.”
So you’re probably tellin’ yourself, “Hey, if I could just see that, then I’d be certain.”
Let me turn it around: If you can get certain, you’ll see that.
(40) “Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases … ” there we go with that Greek mystery word again-all. Now, all means all. It says, “Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers disease … ” wait a minute; any sick With divers diseases…. Divers is a word that just means different, multiple. ” … brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.” Do you know why you bring a multitude to Jesus? Because you’re certain! You’re certain;
“I’m gonna drag this guy on a litter, I’m gonna put him on my back, I’m gonna take him ….”
“Where you goin’ with that loony?”
“Man, there’s a Miracle Man on the side of that hill. I’m certain that if I drop him off, he’ll walk back down.” Can you see it? The thing we’ve hungered for and wanted: the miraculous, the supernatural, to cast people down at Jesus’ feet and step and back. .. and Jesus was so concerned about every one of them. It didn’t matter whether they were black, white, yellow, or brown. It didn’t matter if they were Jewish, Puerto Rican, or Scandinavian. He laid his hand on every one of them. Why? Because there’s certainty-and their willingness honored Him. So He honored their certainty by healing their sick-and He healed every one.
Luke 5:12, “And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who had seen Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.” So He had before Him a particular, a certain leper, who was certain. The leper said, “Lord, I if ya will, I know ya can, I’m certain about your power, I’m not certain about your will.” And Jesus said, “Well, if the only problem you have is an uncertainty toward my will to make you better, let’s get rid of that right now. I will.”
He’s the only man recorded in the entire New Testament, whoever asked Jesus if it was His will to make him better. He’s the only man recorded; and Jesus settled that issue and said, “Well, certainly, be glad to.” When vileness met Virtue, and impurity met Purity and death met Life, and error met Truth .. .I can see Jesus walkin’ down the hill with this one-time leper, and His arm around him sayin’;
“Feels pretty good to be whole, don’t it?” “Yeah.”
“Tell ya what I want you to do. I want you to go and be an example of how good God’s been to you. Would you do that?”
That’s what God asked us to do. He doesn’t ask us to go walk on water….
(15) “But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.” They came to hear and be healed. See, our church services are incomplete, if you only come to hear. The reason why you pack this place out is because you’re certain I’m gonna preach. Yeah, you are; you’re certain. Oh, Arnie will just preach his guts out ’til his socks roll down. You’re certain I’m gonna give it 1,000%. There’s not a doubt in one of your minds that when I get to this pulpit, I’m going to be a raging man. You get a kick out of it. You think I’m loony; that I need therapy. I probably do, but see, I’m always thinkin’ that I’m not gonna get to preach again; this is it. I’m not holdin’ my best for later; I’m given my best now, because there ain’t no later.
If you were certain that you were gonna kick the bucket by 4 o’clock this afternoon, I don’t think you’d sit on your fanny with your lips locked and your hands folded and your legs crossed. I think you’d, somehow, let your faith go and say; “I am certain that if I apologize, He’ll forgive me. If I ask Him to help me, I think He’ll help me. 1-1 plead for Him to wash me clean, He will. If I ask Him to touch me, I will come with an assurance, a positive, absolute, ‘I believe He’ll do it’.”
Listen, I’m asking you again: The thief on the cross, all that damnable theology and hearsay that comes out of him … you know, God saved that precious soul, because God is good and you know that Hell has taken the saving of that man and messed up the entire Christian community with a theology and a concept that is damnable. It is. Do you know what the word damnable means? It means: that which possesses the ability to damn one who believes it. That’s what damnable means. We have millions of people, who are being taught that because the thief on the cross was saved by putting his faith in Jesus, that’s all they gotta do is sit on their fat rear-end and believe in Jesus to be saved. It is a lie from Hell. That is not the truth. You cannot be saved like the thief on the cross. Why? Because you first have to deal with the death of the Testator. Jesus was the holder of the will-the Testator. For the thief on the cross, His will could not yet be enforced, because the Testator wasn’t yet dead. But after death, His will takes effect. What’s the will? It’s to be born of water, born of Spirit, baptism in Jesus’ name, infilling of the Holy Ghost. That was not available to the thief. What was available to the thief was faith in a sovereign God. He put his faith in Him, and Jesus said, “You got it. I’ll take you with me.” But you can’t be saved like that, because the Testator has died and the rule is now enforced. And at Pentecost Jesus had Simon Peter preach the rule, and the rule is given in answer to their question:
“What shall we do?”
And Simon Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
That’s God’s rule. I’m certain. If you and I are not certain about this, we need to get our carcass out of here and find us a preacher and a church and a religion and a theology that will work. I wouldn’t go to bed tonight, if I was uncertain about my condition before God.
Now, God is a God of grace and mercy and gracious. The word gracious means: disposed to show favor. Do not presume on God’s grace to cover up acts of intentional disgrace. God’s not hard-up for us. I’d be terrified to leave this church and go home and live like a carnal fool and go to bed as if you were throwin’ dice in Vegas and say, “Well, I’ll just take my chances.” Fool! Why would you take a chance with the one thing God thought was so precious that He incarnated himself in the body of Jesus to pay a price for, so you wouldn’t have to take a chance? See, you’re sittin’ there sayin’, “Well, how can I be certain you’re tellin’ the truth?” Boy, I’m glad you asked. Get your fanny to an altar, slobber and snot and cry, and ask God to forgive you and see if you will not certainly experience mercy. Climb into that water in the name of Jesus with an attitude of humility and thankfulness, and see if all the stain and filth and shame and guilt and all the junk that we’ve all done all our lives, is not left buried in that water. Throw your hands up and begin to magnify God and thank Him the best way you can, and see if God’s power will not come in and fill you with the essence of the Holy Ghost and you will start talkin’ in tongues, speakin’ in other languages, supernaturally.
My God, if a car salesman will give you a test-run, and that loony that’s on the radio all the time who’s sellin’ them vacuum cleaners whose always tellin’ people, “Here, use my vac for thirty days free of charge and see if it’ll work.” … So now God has turned around, standing right in this auditorium and says, “HEY, I don’t want you to do this on blind faith and some preacher screamin’ his guts out and spittin’ all over everybody. Get your carcass up here and see whether he’s tellin’ the truth or not.” Scaredee cat? The only people that God can’t help are dishonest people.
Anybody ever asked Him to forgive you, and you know for sure, you’re certain, He forgave you? Anybody besides me ever been in waters of baptism and you know for sure that there was a washing, a cleansing, a purging? Anybody besides me ever receive the Holy Ghost and it’s joy unspeakable and it’s full of glory? Anybody besides me know what it is to experience peace that passes understanding?
You may have had the hand of God on you for the last 30 years of your life. God has answered prayer for you and blessed you and guided you and counseled you. All I’m sayin’ .. .if you’ve never submitted to water baptism in Jesus’ name and have never received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the supernatural evidence of talking in tongues, God wants to add to your present experience more truth, more light, more power, more victory. That’s all I’m saying. Cornelius was walking with God. He didn’t even have the Holy Ghost, was never baptized. He had angels flyin’ in and out of his living room. You ain’t had that. And guess what the angel told him? “Oh, by the way, send for Simon Peter, a preacher. He’ll tell you the truth, whereby thou shalt be saved.” That means he wasn’t saved then.
Are you certain, or are you a critic. Is He able? Is He willing? Is He waiting? Are you certain Jesus is alive? I’m so sick and tired of all these so-called theologians and scholars. They make me want to … , tellin’ everybody that the day of miracles is over. That’s a lie from Hell. That’s not true. God still heals. God still helps. God still answers prayer. Could I get a witness? God still answers prayer. He may do it as quickly as you want and He may do it faster than you can imagine, but I wonder right now; if you are certain that you need something from God and you are certain that God wants to give it you, I want you to ask God for the Holy Ghost, ask God for healing, ask God for deliverance, ask God for help, ask God for refreshing, ask God to set your soul on fire. I am certain! !! I am absolutely persuaded! I am totally convinced! You don’t have to pray as a beggar. Pray as somebody that’s certain. Be sure that if god said it, it has to happen!
