Trinity and The Truth

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Five decades have passed and the sixth one is coming to it’s close. Many things have changed. Modern technology has replaced ackward skills across our country. We have abandoned most of our donkeys and carts laden with produce from the farmer to the metropolitan area, for beautiful automobiles and beautifully paved roads with white lines in the centre that replaced stone tracks. Old fashioned homes are replaced by beautiful town houses. Exquisitely painted slabwall constructions decorate the scene where once stood “wattle and daub.”
In the more remote hills of the west end of a growing civilization, lies a little village with very little change over the years. At the end of a little trail leading from the winding main road lies a little cottage where I was born. From the entrance to this little cottage one could look across the great valleys to the hill where lies the Cathedral for the community – the only one then. In your mind’s eye I want you to picture the white robed saints marching to ‘zion’ on a Sunday morning. In one hour the experience climaxed and would only be repeated the next Sunday.
I grew up in that little village, my grand-father was the senior elder who was held in high esteem, and that was the family church, with no alternative.
It was an honour to sit in the family pew, no twisting, or turning. What great expectation, and then what fun once a year from early childhood, to mount the mail coach and then on to the train to the city where grand-dad would be the honoured delegate to the Synodical Council and I was the only child present.
Everyone in this village was expecting me to be a minister of this tradition. I soon became concerned with a career, a family, a future, a name, fame, prosperity. Then questions too, what is truth? and where is it? but answers did not come thus. What is ritual, what is mysticism, what is tradition? The potent question in my mind was, “What is the truth about the trinity, three loving spirits that never disagree!! how could this be?”
The truth revealed here will make you free if you really want to be.
RIGHTLY DIVIDING
We must accept that the only wise God has given enough information in the holy scriptures to furnish the ‘called out’ (His Church) with positive information that they might know him and worship Him without doubt or fear. Without a clear and definite revelation of God to mankind, worship could not be in truth, and judgement could not be met with justice.
We know God by His written words not by assumption or vain imaginations. It is written in Deut. 4:35, “Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord He is God; there is none else beside Him.”
It is written in Deut. 4:39, “know therefore this day, and consider it in shine heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: the-e is none else.”
It is written in Deut. 6:4, “Hear O Israel: he Lord our God is one Lord:”
It is written in [Kings 8:60, “That all the people of the earth may know that the Lord is God, and that there is none else.”
The Eternal God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. The Great ‘I Am’ of the old Covenant who was manifested in flesh, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles believed on in the world.
‘He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not.’ (Jn. 1:10)
‘All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made.’ (Jn. 1:3)
It is written in Isa. 43:9-11, “Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, it is truth…..
Ye are my witnesses saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me…
I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me their is no saviour.”
The world will admit that the Eternal God called Abraham and that every Jew from thence came to be a witness to the absolute monotheism of his deity.
Here in Isa. 43:9-11, Jehovah challenges false witnesses of all ages, all nations, tribe and tongue to declare the thing he declared and let them come to pass or let them be prophecies of truth. This cometh only from the God who testifies that there is no God before Him and neither shall any be formed after him, who is the only Saviour. The God of the Bible who is the God of the whole earth, because He is the Creator, declares that He is the first and the last and beside Him there is no God. (Isa. 44:6)
There is no paradox about this, neither should there be speculations or minimizing evil imaginations, doubts or fear to declare that He is what He says about Himself.
More so it is also written in Isa. 45:58 …”I am the Lord, there is none else, there is no God beside me:
I girded thee though thou hast not known me. . .
(vs. 6) … That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else ….
(vs. 7) … I form the light, and created darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things ….
(vs. 8) … Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.”
(vs. 12) … “I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.”
(vs. 21-22) … “Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time: who hath told it from that time: have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me
(vs. 22) … Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”
One witness of this great God states that, “He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not.” (St. Jn. 1:10)
THE NEW SECT
The belief that God is made up of several personalities as the religious belief in the trinity, is a departure from the pure conception of the established word of God. The revelation of God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob establishing their hope in him through much adversity until Moses came on the scene to document things concerning His deity and about His jealousy was never intended for one people or at one dispensation, but that the earth might know from the rising of the sun and from the west that this God is the only one and there is axe else. ‘Salvation is of the Jews’ (Jn. 4:22)
Israel has throughout the ages rejected everything and anything that marred or obscurred the conception of pure monotheism or admit any weakening of it, the Jew would prepare to wander, to suffer or to die.
The word of God states “To whom will you liken me and make me equal and compare me that we may be like.” (Isa. 46:5)
There is no place for three loving spirits which never disagree, or for a paradox. The doctrine of the trinity is an absurd, mere human dogma. It is irrelevant, illogical and contrary to reason. It has no keys to the revelation of God to mankind, therefore it presents an obstacle to human reasoning. The scriptures make it evidently clear that there is but One God and none else. Not three in one, or one in character but One numerically and absolutely so.
In Gen. 17:1 we have the first revelation of God to the Jew. He is made known as Almighty. In Exodus 6 as Eternal, and in the Shema, Deut. 6:4 as being one, absolutely One. He is One because He is wholly unlike anything else in existence and sure this does not mean three heads on one being. He is in one mind, He is therefore not only One but the sole and unique God. Father in Creation, because all things were made by Him, Son in Redemption because He took on a body to shed blood for the salvation of mankind, Holy Ghost because He now shed His Spirit in our hearts crying Abba Father and we know Him no more after the flesh. This is not three loving spirits that never disagree but One God with three distinctive manifestations and at separate times.
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE TRINITY
The doctrine of the trinity which originated from Plato’s Celestial Arithmetic Timaus was twisted by Tertullian into the Trinitas and had it’s origin in the latter part of the First Century. Out of this doctrine, early Catholicism was founded and by the middle of the Second Century, established it’s headquarters in Rome and started the real battle against Morotheism or the strong persecution of the Oneness believers. This was a coalition of the Orphic Cult Mithra and Imperial Rome. Two to three decades after, the Catholic Bible appeared, and it was there the term, Father, Son and Holy Ghost was introduced into Matthew’s gospel. This was never in the original Greek manuscript, however, the Lord never leaves Himself without a witness, ‘professing themselves to be wise they became fools.’ So the statement still reads, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, not names of. (Matt. 28:19)
About A.D. 175 Catholics began adopting the name Christian. Coming to the close of the Second Century, Emperor Septimus Serverus forbade anyone to join Oneness Christianity or Judaism.
In A.D. 220-240, Sapno II of Persia banned Catholicism and held Monotheism in high esteem. In the early part of the Third Century, Constantine became Emperor. He showed much tolerance to the church but he did not make Christianity the religion of the state. The cross soon appeared on his coin and later accompanied by the figures ‘Sol Invictus and Mars Conservator.’ To the end of his days he bore the title of ‘Pontifex Maximus’ as chief priest of the pagan state cult.
Constantine’s tolerance motivated a great influx of people into Christianity but with motives other than a true love for Christ and His words. It was then they started to develop creeds and doctrines of men. From thence we have the strongest perversion of Bible truths.
Constantine never abandoned sunworship and kept the sun on his coins, he set up a statue of the sungod, bearing his own features in the Forum; and another of the motherGoddess Cybele, though she was presented in a posture of prayer.
From the first to the last he was an ambitious, extravagant, militaristic pagan, a man of great capabilities and power but above all, of violence, by means of which he achieved and held his Empire. There could hardly be anything less Christ-like than such a character.

How could mortal man imagine this to be God?
NICAEA AND THE GREAT COUNCILS
The name Nicaea has been very popular in religious circles for centuries. This city is said to be the chief town of Bithynia, a Roman Province of Asia Minor referred to in Acts 16:7. “After they were come to Mysia’ they assayed to go into Bythinia, but the Spirit suffered them not.” The monstrous doctrine of the ‘Triune God’ or the ‘Trinity’, was accepted and propagated at this council in A.D. 325.
Geographically -speaking, Nicaea is situated nearly 60 miles southeast of Istanbul formally Constantinople, on the mainland of Turkey. The Rev. Dr Marvin Arnold, reknown religious historian, did research there in May 1973 and found it to be the most beautiful of Asian or Turkish cities with a population of 47,000. The events surrounding the great council of Nicea A.D. 325 are best reported in his book of Nicaea and the Nicene Council of A.D. 325.
According to Arnold, Nicaea is referred to as a factory of religions. What many need to know is that no Apostolic was invited to the council although the light of the Acts 2 church was shining bright. The whole council was condensing Arianism and other forms of polytheism into an accepted formula and Tertullian’s twisting of Plato’s formula producing the Trinitas, was the answer. The whole conference was not a matter of the result of the fear of God but to make a confused idolatrous world community, one.
The spirit dominating that conference was the same spirit that directed Nimrod to build the Tower of Babel. It was the same spirit that caused Nebuchadnezzar to call nations, tribes and tongues to the dedication of his golden image. It is the spirit that works against the Lord and His anointed. It is the spirit of the Anti-Christ.
The town of Nicaea was not without a witness of truth. The Apostle Peter made this salutation of his first epistle chpt. 1:1 … “Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ to the strangers scattered through-out Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithyna (Nicaea)”. In this very place, that which may be known of God was manifest in them for God had showed it unto them the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world
was clearly seen, therefore, they heard that the Creator was in the world and the world was made by Him. This should cause them to understand His eternal power and Godhead, yet they refused to accept that in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily and that complete in Him who is the head we are of all principalities and power, as it is written (Col. 2:910). So they are without excuse because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but became fools and came up with a formula of the trinity.
WHY THREE? – MAN’S REASONING
In this number we have quite a new set of Phenomena. We come to the first geometrical figure. Two straight lines cannot possibly enclose any space, or form a plane figure; neither can two plane surfaces form is solid. Three lines are necessary co form a plane figure; and three dimensions of length, breadth, and height, are necessary to form a solid. Hence three is the symbol of the cube the simplest form of solid figure As two is the symbol of the square, or plane contents, (x2), so three is the symbol of the cube, or solid contents (x3).
Three, therefore stands for that which is solid, real, substantial, complete, and entire???
All things that are specially complete are stamped with this number three. God’s attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. (Man’s re son) But our God is more;
God is love, Infallible ‘ Immutable Eternal and more.
There are three great divisions completing time past, present and future. (Man’s reasoning.)
Our God is from Eternity to Eternity and yet He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Three persons, in grammar, express and include all the relationships of mankind. (Man’s reasoning.) Thought, word, and deed, complete the sum of human capability.
Our God is more …. Spirit, and directly only in the image of Christ. One Person.
Three degrees of comparison complete our knowledge of qualities. The simplest proposition requires three things to complete it; the subject, the predicate, and the copula.
God is a expressed Jesus
Our God cannot be compared neither in tense. He is the Great
I AM and God is Good, good, not better or best for He cannot be compared. (see Isa. 46:5)
Three propositions are necessary to complete the simplest form of argument, the major premise the minor and the conclusion. Three Kingdoms embrace our ideas of matter, mineral, vegetable and animal. (Solid, liquid and gas but the Creator is One.)
When we turn to the Scriptures, this completion becomes Divine, and marks Divine completeness or perfection as accepted by Theologians but does not make three spirits of the One God of the Bible.
At least the Bible speaks of the seven spirits of God (Rev. 1:4 , 3:1, 4:5 and 5:6) alluded to the perfection of his attributes.
Isa. 11:2 tells what the seven spirits are. No one will claim this to mean ‘seven in One God’ Rather they are the attributes of God. His perfection His completeness. Therefore we are complete in Him which is the head of all principality and power.
Where do trinitarians get their claims, and why three? Man’s philosophy!! 666! BEWARE!
THE PLAIN TRUTH
Eve was deceived from the garden. Cain bore the fruit when he killed Abel.
Evil seeds were sown from the land of Nod. They were harvested at the flood. Maybe by intermarriage an evil seed came across the waters.
It produced a Nimrod that inoculated his generation. They flourished mightily over the whole earth.
John the Baptist called them a generation of vipers. Jesus called them children of the devil. Simon Peter called on them to repent and be borned again of the water and the Spirit and save themselves from this untoward generation.
Find the Creator and ‘Worship Him that made the Heaven and the Earth and the Sea and the Foundations of Water.’

But they hate walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalam, which their fathers taught them:” (Jer. 9:14)
One of the most horrifying and blasphemous paintings ever produced was the Tyrolean (Ca 1516) Trinity even Catholics revolted because of it.
THEY CHANGED THE GLORY OF THE UNCORRUPTABLE GOD INTO AN IMAGE MADE LIKE TO CORRUPTIBLE MAN
In Gen. 1:27 it is written, “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him. Male and female created He them.”
In St. Mark 12:14-17, they questioned Jesus regarding the legality of paying tribute to Caesar. He said, “Why tempt ye me, bring me a penny, whose is this image and superscription,?” they said Caesar’s. Jesus said unto them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s” God is a Spirit. He was manifest in flesh. ([Tim. 3:16)
This manifestation is the express (image) of God not another God. Mankind must know where his tribute belongs. Instead they researched a triune formula.
He who said ‘All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth’ and of whom it is written, “He is the head of all principalities and power (Col. 2:10)” was denied the right of having His creatures bear His name in baptism, and at this council, they adopted the formula of three dips in water using the term, ‘Father, Son and Holy Ghost. They changed the truth of water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins to a blatant lie, and worshipped and serve the creature (triune formula) instead of the Creator who is blessed forever; in whom we have redemption through His blood even the forgiveness of sins, and who is the image of the invisible God the first-born of every creature, for by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominion or principalities or powers, all things were created by Him and for Him, (not trinity,) and He is before all things and by Him all things consist. The Alpha and Omega of, the First Testament, is also the Alpha and Omega of the New Testament. According to Isa. 46:9 and Rev. 1:8-11. The Lord which was, which is and which is to come is not a trinity. It is written, “I am the first and last. I am He that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive forever more. Amen (Amen)” What is His name?
Of the same it is written in Rev. 4:9-11 …”And when those beasts give glory and honour to Him that sat on the throne, who liveth forever and ever, the Four and Twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, and cast down their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou has created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
It is written also in Rev. 14:6-11 “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgement is come: and worship Him that made heaven and earth and the sea, and the fountains of waters, …..
And there followed another angel, saying Babylon is fallen is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication…..
A RECENT TESTIMONY OF ANCIENT IDOLATRY
Recently, Overseer G.T. Mullings of London, gave a testimony of His missions to India. He gave this story just as I was writing the closing chapters of this book. How amazing to hear that ‘mother and son’ diety of the Catholic Church is also observed in the Hindu religion and at the celebration of the Hindu New Year their image is paraded with great dancing and shouting and musical instruments through the streets. People enter homes with three leaves in their hands for blessings.
There are over thirty million gods in India. Their temples can be seen in cane-fields in trees under trees, and up mountain slopes and almost everywhere. Driving on the trains you see the tops of the temples and the mountain tops.
These temples are not built to accommodate people, but houses for these images. Numerous sacrifices are made to these gods. Flowers hang on them, spices, food, money etc. given to them and their priest They
worship all animals; all life is sacred to the Hindus. Monkeys cows, are left to roam the streets of the cities, pigs, goats, rats anything. One great point of interest is that an Indian will always ask another “What is the name of your god?” especially if you profess christianity.
How sweet the name of Jesus sounds in a believer’s ear. Moses asked God, ‘When I come to the children of Israel and shall say unto them the God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and they shall say to me; What is his name? what shall I say unto them?” (Gen. 3:13)
Thank God for raising up a generation through which he preserved truth and brought it to us who were not a people and alienated from the common-wealth of Israel salvation is of the Jews.
IDOLATRY REIGNS
tri mor’phous, a. of, pertaining to, or characterized by trimorphism; having three distinct forms.
Tri mur’ti, n. [Sans.. from tri, three, and murti, body, shape, the Hindu trinity of gods, B rah ma. Vishnu, and Siva, conceived as aninseparable unity: considered separately Brahma is the creating Vishnu the preserving, and Siva the destroying principle. The tri murti IS represented symbolically as one body with three heads, Vishnu at the right, TRIMURTI Siva at the left, and Brahma in the middle.
Vishnu
In Hinu theology, the goa who, with the other two great gods, Brahma and Siva, forms the trinity the Preserver, considered by his worshippers to be the supreme god of the Hindu pantheon: he is popularly believed to have had several human incarnations, most important of which is Krishna.
Brah’ma, Brahm, n. [Hind. brahm, brahma; from Sans. brahman (neut.), devotion, divine science, impersonal divinity. in Hindu theology, the absolute, self-existent, eternal essence or spirit of the universe, the source of all things, the ultimate of all things the impersonal, ineffable sacredness, the object of the loftiest philosophic adoration.
Brah’ma, n. [Hind. Brah’ma, from Sans. brahman, (masc.). worshiper, overseer of sacred things, personal divinity.] in Hindu theology, the creator, divine essence, or personified Brahm. Brahma was unknown to the older Hindu religion, but became the object of adoration by the Brahmans, and the first person in the trinity with Vishnu, redeemer, and Siva, destroyer. Brahma is represented by a red figure with four heads and four arms.
SIVA the third God of the Hindu Triad representing the principle of reproduction and destruction. His emblem is Lingam, symbolical of creation (the productive power of nature) and destruction.
Krish’na, n. [Sans. Krsna.) an important Hindu god, an incarnation of Vishnu, second god of the Hindu trinity.
Krish’ni.Ism, n, the worship or cult of Krishna.
Kriss Krin’gle, [G. Christkindel ;Christ Christ. and kinder dim. of kind, child. Santa Claus.
After Noah and his family came from the Ark, he offered a sacrifice unto the Lord. God accepted Noah’s sacrifice and made a covenant with him not to destroy the world by flood again. (Gen. 8:20-22)
From thence we have the rainbow.
We learn after, that Noah drank wine and being drunk was mocked by Ham, one of his sons. This brought a curse on Caanan the descendant of Ham. (Gen. 9:25) From a father showing such a fundamental lack of moral sense as Ham, it is not surprising that a wicked people like the Caananites sprang up.
Ham, begat Cush and Cush begat Nimrod who had great influence on his generation and organized the building of the tower of Babel which was against the will of God. From here people were scattered with confusion of tongues, but they went with the knowledge of the idolatrous practice taught by Nimrod. This Nimrod is considered to be the founder of Trinity worship holding the Mother Father and Child as a diety.
As the Caananites increased, wickedness spread over the land. Out of this world of Idolatry the true and living God, the Creator and Eternal one called Abraham. (Gen. 12:12)
The spirit of Babylon was already here. It was rebellion against the very diety of God to share His glory to liken Him to four-footed beasts and creeping things and reject the revelation of His person.
THE CONSEQUENCES OF IDOLATROUS WORSHIP
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image,
BEWARE
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ…….
For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” (Col. 2:8-9)
In Him Jesus.
And why should we conclude with any other but the Apostolic Benediction.
“Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling (from truth unto error) and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy; to the ONLY WISE GOD our SAVIOUR be GLORY and MAJESTY, DOMINION and POWER both NOW and FOREVER, AMEN.”

As a chemical engineer with the Sugar Industry, he retired at an early age for higher service as soon as he got the revelation of Jesus Christ. Ivan developed an inquisitive mind from those early years and wanted to know the truth about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God fulfilled the strong desire of his heart in the year 1960 and led him to the
Apostolic Faith. Like Saul of Tarsus, he was fully converted and took up the task of spreading the truth. He has traveled extensively between the islands, England, the U.S.A., Canada and across the length and breadth of Jamaica declaring the “Oneness of God”, in Repentance and Baptism in Jesus Name and the Infilling of the Holy Ghost.
He is the pastor of the Waterloo Apostolic Church in Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica W.I. and several other churches connected to the cure
In 1986 he was appointed Bishop of the lnternational Apostolic Ministries, a body with International affiliation.
He is director of the Jamaica Chapter of the International University of Biblical Studies and has his doctorate in Theology.
People from everywhere who have read his books and tracts, listened to his sermons on the radio and in the churches, have had their lives completely changed.
Pastor Evans has delved deeply into Jewish writings from his teens, there he developed this keen interest in studying.
