Walking Through The Fire

BY JIM KASEMAN

Many of you are in circumstances and situations that seem to be impossible. I want to encourage each one of you, wherever you need a miracle in your life, to learn how to believe God in that place and to act upon what you believe. Step out in that area and God will give you a miracle-because He is in the business of giving miracles.

Mark 9:23 says, “…If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” It’s not a matter of what God can do, but He says, “IF THOU canst believe.” It’s a matter of what you will believe Him for.

We will be looking at some key principles to victory over so-called impossible situations. We will be looking at the situations that God’s men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were in. It might be well for you
to read Daniel 3:1-30 before you continue to read this article.

1. REMEMBER THAT NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER (Is. 54:17)

In the 19th verse of Daniel 3 it says, “Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego … “You see, the three Hebrew men said, “Listen, our God is able. He’s going to deliver us and we are not going to serve your gods.” Nebuchadnezzar then began to act. His countenance began to change against them and he began to be angry.

Have you ever noticed that when you begin to boldly confess God’s Word as to who you are in Christ. what your abilities are in Christ, where you are in Christ, and what you’ve inherited in Christ-that it begins
to change people’s countenance? They get quiet and start looking at you. They want to move on real quick to get away from you. It doesn’t matter if it’s your mom, dad, brother or sister, but whenever a man
begins to boldly confess the Word of God, those who don’t know the Word of God will rise up against it.

You start confessing that you are righteous or that Jesus bore your sickness and your infirmities and those who don’t know the Word of God, regardless of what denominational background it is, will rise up
against you. Their countenance will change. They will become full of fury and they’ll say, “Who do you think you are? ”

So, just remember that no matter how many devils or people rise up against you in fury-as you stand on God’s Word, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper”! When the dust settles the answer to your
prayer of faith is yours!

11. REMEMBER TO RELEASE YOUR FAITH BOLDLY

According to Jesus in Mark II: 23, the God-Kind of faith is released when we CONFESS God’s Word, BELIEVE God’s Word in our hearts and ACT on God’s Word! (James 2:26)

In order to realize victory in a situation that looks impossible, we must release our faith by boldly confessing God’s Word in the face of that situation as the three Hebrew men did in Daniel 3:16-17.

Most Christians get out and start making bold confessions and when people come against them a little bit they’re not so bold any longer. But the three Hebrew men stood before the king of Babylon, one of the
greatest nations in the world, and they said, “Our God is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace.”

YOU are going to have to say He’s able to deliver you from your furnace, whether it be from a financial need, a physical need, a mental need or a spiritual need. You are going to have to start confessing
with your mouth that you know that your God is able; That you can do all things through Jesus Christ! Thinking is good, but thinking is not what does it. It’s SAYING IT that brings the victory You must SAY unto the mountain (Mark 11:23). It is easy to think off by yourself, “Oh, God can do anything.” It’s good to think off in the corner somewhere. You see, the devil doesn’t bother those kind of people. They are not a
threat to him. Do you know who are the ones who are a threat to the devil? They are the ones who think it over in the corner and come out of the corner and say, “My God is able to deliver me.” Those are the
ones that get the victory!

III. REMEMBER TO BE READY FOR THE OPPOSITION

Mark 4:15-19 tells us that when you receive the Word in your heart the devil comes immediately with afflictions (trials, hardships, tribulations), persecutions, cares (worries, anxieties) of this world, delight of riches and the lusts of other things. Satan will bring these things against you in an attempt to take the “Word” from your heart or to choke the “Word” before the Word has a chance to take root in your heart and produce the answer to your prayer.

You see the next thing Nebuchadnezzar did was to command that the furnace be heated seven times more. Whenever you come against your impossible situation and speak that God is going to give you victory
over it-the devil and his demons are going to go into a fit. They begin to heat that furnace up by causing everyone who hears you to get aggravated and agitated and upset at you. You say, “Brother Kaseman,
why does all the pressure have to come?” It’s because the devil wants to stop you, either by using people or situations, or circumstances. He’s got to stir people up to come against you to stop you from making
your bold confessions or he’s got to get in the circumstances or the situations to put enough pressure on you to make you back up. The reason is that the devil knows that if you will stand up to that mountain and say, “Mountain, be moved in the Name of Jesus, ” and keep on saying it-it’s going to go! He is going to try to stop you from saying it, so remember to be prepared for the opposition when the heat is on! Hold fast without wavering for He is faithful!

IV. REMEMBER YOU’RE NEVER ALONE WHEN THE HEAT IS ON

Hebrews 13:5 tells us, that He’ll never leave nor forsake thee.”

John 4:4 tells us that the Greater One lives within us.

Mark 16:20 tells us that the Lord is working with us.

No Matter what the devil and/or people bring against us in this world, remember that HE is always with you, hold fast to your confession without wavering (Hebrews 10:23) and in the, midst of it all, people
will see Jesus in you and your situation and they’ll be astonished (Daniel 3:24-25).

We can do nothing apart from Jesus Christ but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (John 15:5 and Phil. 4:13).

Remember that when the heat is on!

V. REMEMBER THAT GOD’S WORD WILL PROMOTE YOU (Proverbs 4:8)

Remember that Jesus is the Word and the Word is Jesus. Put the ‘Word’ first place in your life and He’ll always promote you.

Now a lot of people talk about those of us who stand upon the Word of God, but I want to tell you that they recognize that we are here and that we are here to stay When you stand on God’s Word it does stir
things up and people recognize that you are the servant of God. They may laugh and ridicule you but when they’re sick or someone close to them is sick they’ll ease up to you and ask you to pray for them. They
may ridicule you at the job or school but when they have a need they’ll walk up to you for help. They may have been ridiculing you but they have also been watching and noticing that you do get results when you
pray The 30th verse says, “Then the King promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.” First of all, God had already promoted these men in the spiritual realm. Then Nebuchadnezzar
promoted them in the natural realm. When God promotes you, the promotion will always come down here on earth.

Jesus has already promoted many of you spiritually Many of you have been standing on the Word of God and you’ve already had your spiritual promotion. God has already blessed you because you have stood through some tough things. You just keep standing and the next thing you know the outside world is going to promote you too. God is going to bless you for it. His Word is true. The Word works! Glory to God!

So remember, no matter how impossible the situation looks, stay true to God and His Word-knowing that the Word of God does not return void and the Word of God will promote you!
