WEDDING GUIDELINES FOR FELLOWSHIP HALL USE

The director of the reception will meet with the church hostess for instructions on the use and care of the hall.
The hostess is responsible for:
A. Supervising general cleaning BEFORE, and after the event.
B. Opening and locking hall.
c. Inventorying utensils, etc. before and after use of the hall.
The WEDDING PARTY is responsible for breakage or loss of items or equipment.
ALL facilities are to be left clean and straight. This includes all rooms of all buildings and the grounds.
Only GUARANTEED dripless candles are acceptable or candle cups must be used.
Reception director is responsible for giving her schedule to the church hostess.
Reception director is responsible for insuring that nothing is taken from the hall for any reason.
FEES (NON-MEMBER)
Fellowship hall 80.00
Hostess 45.00
Janitorial Service 30.00
DEPOSITS 50.00
Payable when function is calendared. This amount is applied to the total fee due, and is non-refundable. if the event is canceled.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT 75.00
This deposit is to be paid when the function is calendared, and is to be refunded one week after the wedding if there is no damage to insure the church policies are followed and to be of help to the director.
WEDDING DIRECTOR
The director should give complete plans of all the activities to the hostess. Any special or different plans should be approved by the hostess.
MUSIC
You, the bride, will be responsible for providing your music and your musicians. The music must be approved by the hostess. ONLY religious music will be allowed. The musician should meet with the church sound coordinator to go over the music with the P.A. system. The hostess will arrange this meeting.
RICE THROWING
No rice will be used. Bird seed maybe substituted. If any is throw in the buildings , the wedding party will be Charged a clean up fee.
REHEARSAL
It should begin PROMPTLY at the set time. All involved persons are requested to be at the church 10 minutes early. Church regulations prohibit smoking, food and beverages in the sanctuary. No rehearsal will be conducted (nor the wedding!) when any member of the wedding party is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The PASTOR or OFFICIATING minister is in charge of the rehearsal. The rehearsal, not including a rehearsal dinner, lasts about an hour and a half. Please schedule this into your plans for the evening. ALL members of the wedding party, including ushers, should be present. Both sets of parents should be present. The marriage license is to be given to the minister BEFORE the
rehearsal.
USHERS
Plan for at least one usher for every fifty guests.
PERSONAL VALUABLES
The bride is responsible for selecting someone to return all tux and to take her dress. The hostess nor the church is responsible for an items before, during, or after, the wedding. However, efforts will be made to prevent theft or damage to personal items.
RECEPTION
Details of the reception should be given to the hostess at the first conference.
No smoking in any of the buildings.
No dancing.
No alcoholic beverages in OR ON the premises at any time.
No drugs.
GENERAL
For the general benefit of all concerned, any children in the wedding party should be at least 5 years old.
THE PULPIT MAY NOT BE MOVED UNTIL THE HOSTESS IS PRESENT.
